Sootor / Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner
Prevents DPF troubles.
Usage: Add to diesel fuel to clean the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter). The DPF is also called DPR or DPD, depending on the manufacturer. Since this is a concentrated type, a single bottle can be used multiple times (250ml bottle treats 250 liters of diesel fuel). Overview: It burns off soot accumulated in the DPF to clear blockages. This product resolves various troubles caused by DPF clogging. Cleaning Effect: This product contains a high concentration of cerium oxide, which removes soot from inside the DPF. It prevents ECU (vehicle computer) control issues such as speed/RPM limits or engine stoppage caused by DPF clogging. Reduced DPF Regeneration: Cleaner DPFs improve exhaust efficiency, making DPF regeneration by the ECU less likely to start frequently. Fuel Economy Recovery: When the frequency or duration of DPF regeneration is reduced, fuel efficiency improves. Extended DPF Lifespan: During regeneration, the DPF is exposed to high temperatures of 600°C, which gradually degrades it.
